School of Rock-a-bye Babies (SRBB) is a unique pre-school and early years music education program, for children from birth to 7 years-old, which is the creation (and alias!) of its multitalented founder and lead performer/teacher, Elizabeth A. Haydn-Jones.  

 Comprised of live classes, original music, parties, staged events, books, and various recorded multimedia, the SRBB program of music education teaches children (and many adults) about musicianship, music theory, and musicology through the power of play, humour, and GOOD music.  

Having originated in North West London, UK in January 2009, SRBB now has a vast London-based following with a rapidly growing global audience.

School of Rock-a-bye Babies (SRBB) is the alias of its founder, Elizabeth A. Haydn-Jones.

Elizabeth is a classically-trained multi-instrumentalist, actor, writer, dancer, singer/songwriter and producer. She writes, arranges, performs, and produces all the original content that comprises the SRBB experience and taught over 6000+ individual students doing SRBB LIVE.

She is now developing SRBB for episodic children’s TV and as a podcast.

Elizabeth completed Royal College of Music examinations to teaching level in performance violin and music theory and was a member The Academy at Mount Royal University Conservatory. She earned an undergraduate degree in English- Drama & Theatre from McGill University and a postgraduate degree in Political Science - Human Rights from University College London.

In addition to SRBB, Elizabeth is developing her blog and podcast, I’m Not Failing, while creating a written piece and accompanying song cycle following her Welsh/American roots to and from the Canadian Prairies.

Elizabeth now resides on the west coast of the USA, with her husband and sons.  She cites them as her muses!

Comprised of original audio/visual material, SRBB applies a original teaching pedagodgy based in sound, movement, and grounded social-emotional connection.

It is most suitable for children and their caregivers from birth to 7 years-old.

Motherhood made the magic!

Elizabeth started SRBB in London, UK following the birth of her first child, and established it as a hugely popular brand following the birth of her second.

Elizabeth wanted to share in ALL STYLES of music with her children in a group class setting.  

There was a lot on offer in London, but most experiences left her wanting more...

The classes were cute, but lacked substance…

The events were well performed, but joyless…

The music original, but rarely anything Elizabeth wanted to listen to again (and again, and again)...

So, Elizabeth found a gap in the market and created the MAGICAL MUSICAL WORLD she wanted to experience!

Et, voilà!  School of Rock-a-bye Babies was born!

Nearly 10 years after starting her first live sessions, Elizabeth closed SRBB LIVE in order to record her audio/visual catalogue for TV & podcasting.
